Refund Policy

At Parys Rugby Club, we want you to be happy with your purchase. This Refund Policy explains how returns, exchanges and refunds are handled for products purchased from our website.

This policy applies to rugby gear, apparel, merchandise and accessories purchased directly from Parys Rugby Club.

1. Change-of-mind returns for online purchases

If you purchased a product online, you may return it within 7 days after receiving the goods, provided that:

·      The item is unused and unworn

·      The item is in its original condition

·      The item is returned with all tags, labels and packaging

·      The item has not been washed, altered, damaged or personalised

·      The item is not excluded from return for hygiene or customisation reasons

For change-of-mind returns, you will be responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods to us.

2. Items that cannot be returned for change-of-mind reasons

The following items may not be returned or refunded for change-of-mind reasons:

·      Custom or personalised products

·      Items printed or embroidered with names, numbers, initials or custom branding

·      Made-to-order products

·      Items that have been worn, washed, used, altered or damaged

·      Items without original tags or packaging

·      Hygiene-sensitive items that have been opened, worn or removed from sealed packaging, such as mouthguards, underwear, compression wear or similar items

·      Sale or clearance items, unless defective or incorrectly supplied

This does not affect your rights if the product is defective, damaged or incorrectly supplied.

3. Size exchanges

We may allow size exchanges where stock is available, provided that:

·      The item is unused, unworn and unwashed

·      The item is returned in its original condition with tags and packaging

·      The exchange request is made within 7 days of receiving the goods

·      The item is not custom, personalised or excluded for hygiene reasons

Courier or return delivery costs for size exchanges may be for your account unless the incorrect size was supplied by us.

If the requested replacement size is unavailable, we may offer a refund, store credit or alternative product.

4. Defective, damaged or incorrect items

If your product is defective, damaged on arrival or not what you ordered, please contact us as soon as possible.

You may be asked to provide:

·      Your order number

·      A description of the issue

·      Photographs of the item, packaging and defect or damage

If the product is confirmed to be defective, damaged or incorrectly supplied, we will arrange an appropriate remedy, which may include repair, replacement or refund, depending on the circumstances and your rights under South African consumer protection law.

5. Products damaged through use

We cannot accept returns or refunds where damage was caused by:

·      Normal wear and tear

·      Incorrect use

·      Negligence

·      Accidental damage

·      Improper washing or care

·      Unauthorised alterations

·      Use of the product for a purpose it was not intended for

Please follow the care instructions on all apparel and gear.

7. Return shipping

Unless the product is defective, damaged or incorrectly supplied, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs.

We recommend using a trackable courier service, as we cannot be responsible for items lost or damaged during return shipping.

8. Inspection of returned goods

All returned items will be inspected before an exchange, refund or store credit is approved.

If the returned item does not meet the conditions of this Refund Policy, we may decline the return and send the item back to you.

9. Refunds

Approved refunds will be processed using the original payment method where possible.

Refunds may take several business days to reflect, depending on your bank or payment provider.

Where required by law, refunds will be processed within the applicable legal timeframe.

10. Delivery fees

Original delivery fees are generally non-refundable for change-of-mind returns.

If the return is due to a defective, damaged or incorrect item, we will review the delivery fee as part of the refund or replacement process.

11. Late or missing refunds
